If you’re thinking about attending one of our events or hosting your own event on our behalf, you can find a brief summary of some of the past fundraising events that we’ve held to get an idea of how they went and who was involved.

Fundraising for Freedom hosted the Third Annual Gala in support of SafeHope Home on January 25, 2020 at the Jubilee Pavilion in Oshawa. It was a wonderful night including dinner, dancing, silent auction and keynote speakers who spoke about the importance of long-term programs like SafeHope Home in our community. It was the most successful night yet but none of it would have been possible without everyone who supported and attended the event.

SafeHope Home hosted a golf tournament alongside our partner Men Ending Trafficking on October 1, 2019. It took place at Deer Creek Golf and Banquet Facility. The day consisted of 18 rounds of golf followed by a full-service dinner and silent auction. Despite the rain, it was a great day of golf and we are so thankful to everyone who attended the event. We are also so grateful for the generosity of so many donors who donated items to the silent auction table. The tournament would not have been possible without your support.

On February 23rd 2019, Fundraising for Freedom hosted their second annual Gala in support of SafeHope Home at the Jubilee Pavilion in Oshawa. The night consisted of a full-service dinner, live music by Plan B and silent auction.

We heard from keynote speakers who provided our guests with knowledge and insight into the reality of human trafficking and how SafeHope Home supports survivors through long-term Housing, Programs and Outreach .
