“THAT WHICH DOES NOT KILL US, MAKES US STRONGER.”

~Friedrich Nietzsche

Warm Welcomes to all my Fellow Moon Dancers:

There are many expressions that illustrate the importance and significance of our strength as human beings to keep going in the eye of any tornado that strikes our lives.

We, ourselves, as human beings, have an insurmountable need to endure any and all suffering that we face with grace, courage, and control. If we cannot attain this type of societal equilibrium then we usually are deemed failures, often leading to trauma, addiction, and abuse.

The pressure from sources outside of our own inner circle is overwhelmingly directed in a way that makes it impossible for any stigma to truly be broken.

People live in glass houses but throw stones. They live with their house in shambles and see it as a symbol of their voice.

People pass judgment on others based on stigma.

Ignorance is the breeding ground for intolerance.

…..

When times get tough, we get tougher.

We keep walking even when we can’t.

We are Warriors. Warriors never stop.

All versions of my type of spoken word.

At this time, I am stating for anyone’s record:

WE ARE HUMAN.

WE ARE ALLOWED…  NEY!

WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE BAD DAYS.

WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO SAY SOMETHING YOU MAY NOT AGREE WITH.

WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO CONTINUE TO LIVE OUR LIVES IN RECOVERY AFTER TRAUMA, ABUSE, ADDICTION ….

…. AND, YES, WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE HAPPY AGAIN

WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO SEE LIFE AS WE SEE IT

WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIVE OUR LIVES WITH RESPECT

…..

Any human being that will verbally, mentally, or physically try to weaken or damage you, in any way during your recovery is an extremely narcissistic toxic person, who will always pretend that they are a victim in their story. The attacks these people fair on us are usually unwarranted in nature, and become a source of concern for us as a possible trigger for relapse or even suicide.

We often want to react with rage impulsively.

Thankfully, when I recently impulsively responded to an extremely seriously malicious message from a person I’ve never even spoken to, I responded with a bit of grace.

However, I am tired of hearing that I am a bad person.

I am tired of hearing that I have to do it this way or that way.

I am tired of hearing second-hand opinions about my life.

I’m over 10 months clean. No relapses.

The work I have put in is not even close to what I went through to get out of the life that was killing me.

I did it.

And I keep doing it.

Nobody can take that from me.

I stood up 10 months ago.

Today, I stand up again.

….

My Dear Angels Reading:

Never let anyone tear you down.

Pick up your Crown.

Tell them you’ll see them ’round.

Let your voice speak with the love you spread all over town.

Lift other women up!!

We are powerful together!!

She is your sister!
